These photos were taken while completing assignments for recent issue of Bethesda Magazine

Kenneth hands out papers at Ft. Totten Metro station to grinning commuters. Kenneth has the uncanny ability to brighten up the most stuffy of metro riders. He adds some well needed smiles to the morning grind with his humor and good spirits.

A couple says goodbye at a DC to NYC bus-stop in Bethesda. The affordable bus service is becoming an extremely popular east coast travel option.

This is a photo I took of Jeff Lovett, a masters candidate at Ohio University, at Gavin Power Plant. Jeff's work focuses on critical regionalism, and the structures of culture, industry and ecology that entangle the communities of southeast Ohio. As Jeff and many other's work point out, the growth of the coal industry has rarely been synonymous with positive growth for the human and natural environments in the surrounding areas.
