Keeping Their History Alive

The Southeast Ohio based group Sons of Liberty meets routinely for rendezvous where they camp out and learn to live like their ancestors might have done hundreds of years ago in the foothills of Appalachia. This group is specifically focused on the colonial period. There is a strong interest in firearms from that period. Members will often come together to test there skills with authentic muzzle loaded rifles that many have built themselves.

Boom Pow

This weekend was full of fun loud things. Pre Civil War, colonial history buffs, the Sons of Liberty met in Jackson, OH for a rendezvous. Back in Athens, OH airsoft guns and fireworks were par for the course.
